NORTH ATTLEBORO - The commercial property across from Shaw’s Plaza in the Falls section of town that once housed the Balfour Company, CVS corporate offices after Balfour relocated to Texas, and both Answer is Fitness and Waters Church is being eyed for housing.
Michael Borg made the announcement that the 12-acre site may soon be home to up to a 300-unit housing development during his town manager's report to the town council Monday night.
The meeting was the council's first of the new fiscal year.
The proposed development is separate from the 300-unit complex currently under construction at the former Stix Fun Center off of Kelley Boulevard near the Plainville line.
