Local Health Club Spreads Positivity Through Acts of Kindness

North Attleboro, Massachusetts - March 27, 2020 - The coronavirus pandemic may have temporarily closed down all Fit Factory health club locations, but that isn’t stopping the company from finding unique ways to support the community when it needs it the most. Over the course of the past week since they have closed their doors, Fit Factory has volunteered all of their 25,000 - 35,000 sq ft facilities across Massachusetts and Texas to be used as blood donation centers by the American Red Cross, partnered with local food pantries, developed new ways to help their communities stay healthy, and more.

When Matthew Genes, Fit Factory’s CEO and Co-Founder heard that The American Red Cross was currently in desperate need for blood donations and spaces to collect them, he stated that it was a “no brainer” to help! The health clubs provide plenty of space to maintain social distance and collect blood, especially while they are closed to the general public. More information regarding the dates and times of these blood drives is being finalized and will be announced shortly.

Even beyond blood drives, Fit Factory has been committed to helping their communities on a more localized level as well. The company has purchased their staff meals from local restaurants that need the support, worked with local food banks, and even written “thinking of you” cards to share with the residents of assisted living homes, a high-risk population can not have visitors at this time. The company's Marketing Manager, Sharilynn Brown stated that “we really just want to help in any way that we can. Our communities are so important to us and if we can spread a little bit of positivity during this uncertain and challenging time, we’ve done our job.”

Fit Factory also continues to support its loyal member base through the distribution of engaging virtual fitness content such as live online group fitness classes, in home workout videos, as well as a downloadable ‘Mindfulness At Home’ ebook and a Home Workout Plan. Knowing that this time is difficult on everyone, the local health club hopes to spread a little extra positivity and hope in the community during COVID-19.

Fit Factory was founded in 2015 by Boston Natives Ryan Gadles and Matt Genes with a vision of providing members with a luxury-health club experience at an extremely competitive price. The local health club prides itself on eliminating the “strings attached” agreements that are common amongst many other health clubs. Fit Factory focuses on high quality, exceptional service, and a variety of luxury amenities.
