SEEKONK - The champion of the 2026 Attleboro Area Golf Association championship, affectionally known to many as the “City Open,” was crowned LIVE on North TV on the 18th green at Ledgemont Country Club.
After decades of dominance by AAGA legend Mark Forbes, the tournament concluded with a first-time champion for the seventh time in the last 10 years.
Chad Bearce finished the four-day tournament with an 8-over score of 293, one better than two-time champion Patrick Joyce.
The AAGA awarded its scholarships and inducted two new members into its hall of fame following Bearce’s winning-putt.
