NORTH ATTLEBORO - Town Manager Michael Borg presented his final FY27 budget to members of the town council during the board's semi-monthly meeting Monday night.
The total for the new year starting July 1 is slightly over $121 million, a $7.7 million and 7% increase over the current fiscal year.
That total is a little misleading, however, as $4.2 million is for the debt exclusion passed overwhelmingly by voters last year for a new high school.
Borg gave the council details of the budget in a lengthy Powerpoint presentation including all departments, enterprise accounts and capital improvement projects.
