PLAINVILLE - A public hearing during Monday night’s planning board meeting became contentious when longtime member Stan Wydak, Jr. abstained on a second vote to approve a special permit to redevelop the former Joe’s 320 Club on Route 1 for motor vehicle sales and chair Dawn Denzikurt challenged Wydak by asking the reason for his abstention.
Some residents of a mobile home park behind the site spoke out against the dealership due to concerns about increased traffic, while others voiced support.
