NORTH ATTLEBORO - The progress made by the town's opioid task force, established almost two years ago, was presented to members of the town council during the latter board’s meeting on Monday night.
The task force was formed to identify and recommend community programs relating to opioid prevention, treatment, recovery or harm reduction and support these programs with opioid abatement funds from a legal settlement which holds distributors, manufacturers and pharmacies responsible for creating and fueling the opioid crisis.
