NORTH ATTLEBORO - The school department makes up more than half of the total town budget, but school officials will be the first to admit it’s not enough.
Superintendent of Schools John Antonucci is hoping to add 20 positions for the 2026-2027 school year and an increase of almost 8% over this year’s budget.
A public hearing on the school’s FY27 budget was held during the school committee’s monthly meeting Tuesday night at the Woodcock School Administration Building.
