NORTH ATTLEBORO - Additional funds for the addition of up to 20 positions to the school department for the 2025-26 school year aren’t part of the Fiscal Year 26 budget presented last month by Town Manager Michael Borg and currently being reviewed by the town’s finance subcommittee.
The final budget is scheduled for approval by the town council at their June 9 meeting.
Superintendent of Schools John Antonucci broke the news to members of the school committee during their monthly meeting Tuesday night.
