North board reviews plans for new NAHS

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The long process of building a new North Attleboro High School is slowing chugging along after the town’s planning board held a public hearing Thursday night on a level 3 major site plan special permit for the new school.

Construction of a new road to the new school is expected to begin in June.

The new $287 million high school is expected to open in the fall of 2028 followed by the demolition of the current school and replacing that spot with new fields.
