NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town council, by a 7-0 vote, approved a charter amendment increasing the town’s board of health from three to five members.
Although the measure was approved, town officials need to execute a Home Rule Petition for submission to the Massachusetts legislature for approval.
The BOH petition will be submitted in combination with two other charter changes that have not yet been approved.
