NORTH ATTLEBORO - Health and Human Resources Coordinator Stephen Berdos appeared before the town council Monday night to detail the breakdown of annual payments in opioid abatement funds.
The funds are part of a larger, statewide settlement to municipalities across the Commonwealth, which will allocate over $900 million.
The money is from opioid distributors and pharmacies that have directly or indirectly contributed to the opioid epidemic.
North Attleboro is expected to receive over $2.4 million over the next 16 years.
