PLAINVILLE - The large conference room in town hall where the select board and other boards and committees meet will soon have a name.
Members of the select board held a public hearing in response to a citizen’s petition proposing the meeting room be named after longtime former town administrator Joseph Fernandes.
Select Board Chair Jeff Johnson opened the hearing by sharing his thoughts on Fernandes.
