PLAINVILLE - Development on Route 1 continues to be a hot topic at meetings of town boards.
Hatch Materials, currently at the top of the hill at 80 Washington Street, wants to move north to 128 Washington Street as part of new complex that would include a hotel, warehouse, office building, landscaping material storage and processing yard.
The site is next to the Peterbilt Truck Store and across from Apotho Therapeutics and Frankie’s Bistro.
The planning board held a public hearing Monday night on the topic, which started with a presentation by the developer.
