NORTH ATTLEBORO - The spring sports season opened up last Friday afternoon when the Red Rocketeers hosted the Mansfield Hornets in girls’ lacrosse.
Unfortunately for North, they finished on the short end of the new digital scoreboard losing their season opener 9-8.
We typically don’t name a Player of the Week when our local team loses, but the play of senior midfielder Ellie Regan was outstanding.
Wearing #3, the team captain scored a hat trick in helping North rally twice from three-goal deficits.
