NORTH ATTLEBORO - Town hall will host a showcase of art by middle school students Wednesday night.
The exhibit will feature artwork created by last year’s eighth-grade advanced art students, who are now in their first year at the high school and will make up the class of 2030.
The featured pieces are master reproductions of historically significant works of art.
Students selected a work to recreate, researched the original artist and painting, and used advanced techniques and materials to create their own reproductions.
Residents are invited to attend a special showing this Wednesday, October 14 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at town hall.
North TV spoke to middle school art teacher Amanda Sylvester Wednesday in her classroom, which doubles as the art school’s art studio.
