Survey launched about opioid funds

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Officials Thursday launched an Opioid Impact Community Survey for residents to share their input on how the town should spend opioid settlement funds.

It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and includes six multiple-choice and short-answer questions seeking ideas.

North Attleboro received $735,000 in opioid abatement funds, part of a statewide settlement to municipalities across the Commonwealth.

The town is projected to receive $1,716,791.24 over the next 14 years, with an average annual distribution of $122,627.

The deadline for community members to respond to the survey is Friday, May 2.
