NORTH ATTLEBORO - Flock cameras mounted on poles in town will be an item on the agenda when the town council meets Monday night at town hall.
The cameras have been a hot topic on local social media pages with most of the comments from people outraged about potential privacy violations.
Rhode Island officials earlier this month announced a moratorium prohibiting the state police from installing new cameras and asked the state’s cities and towns to do the same while a formal policy review takes place.
Existing cameras are allowed to operate during the review.
The cameras were a topic discussed when North Attleboro Town Manager Michael Borg visited the North TV studio recently for the recording of his August “Town Manager’s Report.”

You can watch that entire interview on North TV’s Government Channel: Comcast channel 96 and Verizon channel 23 in North Attleboro.
