PLAINVILLE - The town's select board and school committee approved two interim members of the the latter board during a joint meeting Monday night.
The openings were a result of the town’s annual election on April 6.
School committee chair Steve Albert stepped down after he was elected to the select board and Michele Sharpe’s position was vacant after she was elected to the King Philip Regional School Committee.
Members of the select board and school committee interviewed four candidates before voting on the two interim members.
