NORTH ATTLEBORO - Local history was made the afternoon of December 21 when the Chabad of Mansfield lit the first ever Menorah on the Veterans Common in front of town hall.
The event featured an LED 9.5-foot Menorah, donuts and Latkes, a chocolate gelt drop, Chanukah music and dancing.
Chanukah was observed from December 14 through December 22.
The dates this year will be December 4 through December 12.
