NORTH ATTLEBORO - Students and staff at the Roosevelt Avenue School are certainly ready for Sunday’s Super Bowl.
More than 300 people packed the school’s gymnasium Friday morning for an assembly and rally.
One of those attending was former North Attleboro High School great Chris Sullivan.
After playing for legendary head coach Ray Beaupre at NAHS, Sullivan was a starter for Boston College and then played in the National Football League with the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers.
He played in two Super Bowls, the Patriots’ loss to the Green Bay Packers in 1997 and New England’s upset victory over the St. Louis Rams in 2002.
Sullivan passed his Super Bowl ring around for every student to try on and then answered questions from Principal Jeannine Magliocco
