NORTH ATTLEBORO - The storm that rolled through the area Sunday into Monday was officially called Winter Storm Hernando, but the majority of people in the area will simply call it the Blizzard of ’26.
Anywhere from 18 inches to three feet fell in the area making it difficult for DPW crews to keep up with the heavy snow.
It was the first topic discussed when Michael Borg visited the North TV news set Wednesday afternoon for a recording of his monthly “Town Manager’s Report” program.
He was asked specifically about the different phases of cleanup and tracking the clearing of the town’s streets.
