NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town held a ceremony on Independence Day kicking off its 16-day celebration of the nation’s semiquincentennial.
The “Celebrating Liberty’s Legacy” ceremony included Town Councilor Annie Slobogan, Town Manager Michael Borg, State Representative Adam Scanlon, Town Council President Justin Paré and others addressed those gathered on the Veterans Common in front of town hall.
North Attleboro Poet Laureate Kayla Roy read the Declaration of Independence.
