PLAINVILLE - Article 31 on the warrant at Monday's annual town meeting at the Wood School was defeated.
The article would have removed the existing requirement that limits the minimum and maximum size of dwelling units and would require a certain percentage of living area to be located on the first floor, and would have replaced that provision with the word “Reserved.”
The overall intent of the Senior Village Overlay District would have remain unchanged, including its focus on providing appropriate housing options for older adults.
