NORTH ATTLEBORO - Town and Plainville residents are invited to honor the area’s veterans during a ceremony on Tuesday, November 11 at 11 a.m. on the Veterans Common in front of town hall.
The ceremony will include North Attleboro, Plainville and state officials; the North Attleboro High School band; girl, cub and boy scouts and clergy.
Command, Sgt. Major Greg Yanchuk from the Massachusetts Army National Guard will deliver the keynote address.
In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Community School auditorium.
Later, a rededication ceremony of the Fisher Street bridge in honor of Airman First Class Jeffrey R. Plante will follow at 1:30 p.m.
The 11 a.m. ceremony will be shown LIVE on North TV’s Community Channel: Comcast channel 15 and Verizon channel 24 in North Attleboro and Comcast channel 6 in Plainville.
