Walker leads T-C to title, earns final fall POTW

NORTH ATTLEBORO - It might make sense for North TV to adopt the slogan of “Home of championship football,” as all four teams we cover (Bishop Feehan, King Philip, North Attleboro and Tri-County) advanced to championship games in their respective divisions.

Our final week of the fall 2025 season kicked off on Wednesday, December 3 with Tri-County’s 28-6 win over Blue Hills in the Massachusetts Vocational Athletic Directors Association Middle Division championship at Greater New Bedford High School.

We were back in action two nights later when two of our teams faced off against each other at Gillette Stadium.

The King Philip Warriors were the ones hoisting the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association’s Super Bowl trophy after beating North Attleboro 21-10.

Our final team, Bishop Feehan, took the field that next afternoon.

Unfortunately, the Shamrocks lost to Catholic Memorial, arguably the best team in the state – in any division – 41-14 in the Division 2 Super Bowl.

Our final Player of the Week for the fall season played in Wednesday’s game.

Quarterback Declan Walker, number-1, threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns, while also running for 28-yards to lead the Cougars to the title.

He ended his senior season completing 108 of 178 passes for 2,085 yards and 30 touchdowns with only five interceptions.

Declan also ran 117 times for 763 yards.

A four-year starter, he took over at QB in the second game of his freshman year.

Declan helped lead the Cougars to three straight berths in the state vocational championship game.

He will receive a copy of the win over Blue Hills on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in Tri-County blue.
