NORTH ATTLEBORO - The regular season is coming to an end but the North TV sports crew is still busy.
We covered five games in as many days last week. It would have been six games in five days but Friday's rain and lack of cover in Lynnfield forced us to cancel coverage of the North Attleboro road football game.
Our staff was at the Red Rocketeers’ Beaupre Field Monday, October 16, for North’s 7-0 trouncing of Taunton in field hockey. We were at the same field Tuesday for the 1-1 girls’ soccer tie with Milford. We were inside the King Philip gymnasium Wednesday for the Warriors 3-1 volleyball win over Attleboro and outside for a Friday doubleheader. King Philip mauled Milford, 8-0, in field hockey during the afternoon and the Warriors rallied at night for a 23-14 football win over the same Scarlet Hawks.
Our North TV Player of the Week for those games is Emily Burnham.
North Attleboro’s number 13 scored three times within eight minutes to help the Red Rocketeers move to within one game of .500. and be named our North TV Player of the Week.
Emily will receive a copy of the Monday's game and a Player of the Week shirt in North Attleboro red. We’ll announce our eighth Player of the Week next week.
