Test 3

Do town employees need a dress code?

ATTLEBORO - A policy implemented in May has Mayor Cathleen DeSimone in hot water with city unions.

A new dress code that prohibits crocs, flip flops, hats, jeans, jeans that are torn or ripped, shorts, micro and mini skirts for city workers was one of the topics during a recent recording of North TV's “Up for Discussion.”

Sun Chronicle columnist Mike Kirby and WARA radio’s Paul Healy joined me on this set to discuss weigh in on the topic.

Other topics discussed during that recording included LGBTQIA+ rights and the boycotts of Bud Light and Target, the NAPD facing criticsm, accusations by a town resident that North Attleboro’s operating and capital budgets for the new fiscal year cater to special interest groups, and the future of the Capron Park Zoo.

That program can be seen in its entirety on North TV’s Community and Government channels: Comcast channels 15 and 98 and Verizon channels 23 and 24 in North Attleboro and Comcast channel 8 in Plainville.
