PLAINVILLE - The town said thank you to former Police Chief James Alfred during Monday night’s meeting of the select board.
Alfred retired on June 12 after serving the town since 1984, the last dozen as chief.
Board chairman Brian Kelly was among the dignitaries issuing proclamations to the former chief.
