NORTH ATTLEBORO - Julia’s Garden Arboretum and slide in the town's World War I Memorial Park are closed temporarily.
The parks and recreation department announced that work started on Monday on the slide area; the work also includes upgrades to drainage along its sides.
The upgrade is expected to take about three weeks.
