KP parents want live streaming of classes

WRENTHAM - Parents of students attending the King Philip middle and high schools want to see live streaming of classes on days their children are not in the classroom.

King Philip is one of many school systems in the area offering hybrid classes in which students are in school half the week and learning remotely the other half.

Superintendent of Schools Paul Zinni read the committee letters from parents urging members to add the technology.

One letter Zinni read listed nearby Bishop Feehan and other public school districts using live streaming to enhance the learning environment for their students.

Monday's meeting of the King Philip school committee is available this week on North TV's Plainville Channel: Comcast channel 8.  It also can be streamed on this website be becoming a North TV Insider. Click the word "Insider" in the header above to register.
