Fluoride still missing from North water

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Fluoride was back on the agenda when the North Attleboro board of health met Wednesday night.

The Department of Public Works announced last month that supply shortages have forced the suspension of fluoridation of the town’s water supply, possibly through the end of the year.

The DPW website cited a nation-wide shortage of sodium fluoride for the suspension.

Director and Public Health Nurse Anne Marie Fleming provided members with an update.
