NA Elks donate $4,500 to Lenore's Pantry

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Members of Elks Lodge 1011 have made a sizable donation to the town's food pantry at a time it is needed the most due to the restrictions put in place by the coronavirus pandemic.

Past District Deputy Jim Brebigleiri and Exalted Ruler Nick Vito of the North Attleboro Elks on Monday presented the town's Public Health Nurse Anne Marie Fleming with a $4,500 donation for Lenore's Pantry.

Distributing food was first started decades ago when Lenore Paquin was the public health nurse, a position she held for more than a quarter century. Upon her provides free food for needy North Attleboro families. That tradition is now named in her honor and now serves hundreds of the town’s families throughout the year.
