North and Plainville in the red

NORTH ATTLEBORO - There are a number of things that tie North Attleboro and Plainville together.

North Attleboro has wells in Plainville and now sells some of the water from those wells back to Plainville, the two share a Veterans Agent and North TV. And now the two toens are unfortunately both in the state’s coronavirus red zone.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health released information on Thursday showing that North Attleboro reported 64 cases for the week ending December 3 and Plainville had recorded 13. Both had positive rates above 5 percent.

Towns with incidents of 10 or over and 5 percent positive test rates or over in a week are designaated red zone communities.
