NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town’s budget for the new fiscal year beginning July 1st was approved during Monday’s meeting of the town council.
The $113.3 million budget is an increase of 3.7% compared to last year’s $109.2 million.
The budget was approved by an 8-0 vote. Councilor Mark Gould was not in attendance.
The town’s public schools will once again receive the largest increase at $2.2 million or 4.5%.
