NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town council and town manager were the targets of the school committee during an usual meeting of the latter group Tuesday night.
Chair Tasha Buzzell led the meeting by voicing her displeasure with funding approved for fiscal year 2026 by the council during their meeting on June 9.
Videos of comments councilors made leading up to the appropriation of the schools’ portion of the budget were shown to the full committee, leading to a negative vote on the motion to approve the school’s operating budget.
At one point, member Charlie Peters stood on a chair to show a list of per pupil spending and where North Attleboro ranks.
