Test 3

Morgan's goals earn POG honors

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North TV sports crew covered five games in as many days last week, all live on our Community Channel.

We were in Wrentham Monday (10/9) for the Bishop Feehan at King Philip soccer doubleheader.

The Warriors took the opener 3-2 over the Feehan boys. The Shamrocks’ girls avenged that loss with a 2-nil win over KP.

We were at North Attleboro’s Pickering Gymnasium Tuesday for Attleboro 3-0 volleyball shutout of the Red Rocketeers.

You didn’t need Apple TV to watch Thursday night football as we were live from North’s Beaupre Field for Taunton’s 13-7 win over the host Red Rocketeers.

We were live again on Friday when King Philip travelled to Foxboro’s Ahearn School Field for football under the lights. KP won the battle of the undefeated Warriors 13-7 to improve to 6-0. King Philip is the number-2 ranked team in Division 2 with two weeks remaining in the regular season.

Our North TV Player of the Week for those games is from the boys' soccer game, King Philip's Jack Morgan.

The Warrior’s number 9 had two of KPs’ three goals in the 3-2 boys’ soccer win. The senior scored two minutes into the game and then netted the game-winner, the only goal of the second half, in the 65th minute of play to be named our North TV Player of the Week.

Jack will receive a copy of the Columbus Day win and a Player of the Week shirt in King Philip gold. We’ll announce our seventh Player of the Week next week at this time.
