NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town has a new conservation administrator.
Tyler Simmonds was confirmed by members of the town council Monday night at the board’s semimonthly meeting.
Town Manager Michael Borg, who had interviewed candiates for the position, requested the confirmation.

The next item on the agenda was supposed to be the confirmation of Jenn Petaitis as new animal control officer. Borg announced, however, that he was withdrawing the request at this time.
