NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town council Tuesday night unanimously approved tax relief for qualifying seniors.
The means-tested property tax relief will benefit those who meet eligibility requirements to support long-term, income-limited senior homeowners.
The approved measure will now have to be approved by the Massachusetts legislature in the form of a home rule petition.
Finance Subcommittee Chair John Simmons introduced the measure Tuesday night.
