Three-star general returns to his alma mater

ATTLEBORO - A Bishop Feehan grad returned to his alma mater in style on Monday.

U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Jonathan P. Braga was aboard a MH47 Chinook helicopter on the school’s baseball field.

The three-star general, a graduate of West Point, is the commander of the Army’s special operations command, overseeing more than 30,000 special forces troops all over the world.

He met briefly with students after landing, including his niece Molly, a senior captain on the girls’ hockey team.

Braga was a member of the Shamrock’s class of 1987 with Feehan President Tim Sullivan, who presented him with the school’s distinguished service award.
